Our inspirational namesake
The original Crazy Horse was the visionary Sioux Indian War Chief (1842 - 1877) who led a thousand braves to a devastating victory against General Custer at the Battle of Little Big Horn and became immortalised as a man of supreme courage, a brilliant military strategist and a natural born leader of men.
As dawn broke on the morning of the Battle (June 25 1876), Crazy Horse declared:
"It is a good day to fight! It is a good day to die! Strong hearts, brave hearts to the front! Weak hearts and cowards to the rear."
Interestingly, General George Armstrong Custer took a somewhat different approach, saying on the same day:
"I could whip all the Indians on the continent with the 7th Cavalry."
Six hours later the Crazy Horse legend was born.
Crazy Horse Brand Response
Companies, to survive and prosper in the ultra competitive modern day marketing battlefield, need to have many virtues and values - including aspiration, energy, the courage of their conviction, inate individualism and strength of character.
Crazy Horse, the warrior, had all these in abundance.
Crazy Horse, the business, lives by a similar code.
We believe business should be an enjoyable adventure, we’re all very fortunate to work in marketing. There should be a sense of excitement, of belief in ourselves that we can indeed make a difference - with honesty and integrity.
We wanted a name that was individual and distinctive, a name that must be lived up to, inspiring us to inspire others.
We found that non-compromising legacy.
