For aficionados of fine cuisine, Jersey Royals need no introduction.

Quite simply they are acclaimed across the world as the tastiest, most exclusive new potatoes, keenly anticipated every spring - being the first British new potatoes of the year.

The season only lasts about six short weeks, from late April to the first days of June.

So our job is to build up a hungry expectation, reminding consumers that the new potato is on its way to your dinner plate - and that they should never settle for second best.

Our national press advertising focuses on the unique freshness of Jersey Royals with campaigns appearing in the quality weekend magazines, capturing the freshness with such lines (or promises) as "from the earth at dawn, to heaven at dusk".
