Our Inspiration

Crazy Horse the agency originated in 1993 as a MBO from Greys. Our Founder created a vibrant agency drawing inspiration from his fascination with Native American history and symbolism. The artworks, photographs and symbols all have particular meaning as does our distinctive colour – representing good fortune and success.

Our brand identity draws from this rich culture, in particular from rock painting which is one of the oldest forms of human expression.

Throughout the Great Plains, there are many Indian pictures painted onto rocks. You can still see them today in caves, rock shelters or even on exposed rock surfaces if they have had some shelter from the weather.

Painted using wet pigments, these images are understood to express values that mankind should aspire to. At Crazy Horse we look to these for inspiration.
